Hi Taxi, thanks for posting. Feeling a bit fed up at the moment (not sure why) and thought peeps would be sick of hearing that I did x amount of washing and so many barrowfuls of poop picked up....blah...blah.

Day off today and been productive and yes I have done 4 loads of washing, cleaned fridge, kidnapped friends hoover and amazingly hoovered. Put sun cream on the nags nose as he does tend to burn a bit. Ordered a new liquidizer and fridge shelf. Got some copy invoices for OHs business and did the banking.

Had to pick DS2 up from school as it was his last day of cycling proficency and he has passed. DS1 is on work experience and is loving it, he has gone on a friends farm. However he has got a re-sit tomorrow. He will be home at dinnertime but I cannot pick him up from the bus stop. I have arranged for him to go and help out in a restaurant, til I can get him.

Had a phone call off somebody in the village wondering if OH would cut the gass. He is too busy but did suggest DS1. I haven't told him yet as he isn't home so will see what he says. If he is interested I will take him down later to meet the lady.

I did a freezer stock take at the weekend and is was very scary how much wasn't in there. Hoping I might get an Asda order next week.

DD2 is having her party on Sunday at the local pool. I'll have to get some party food in on Saturday. Mind you her behaviour has been awful and I'm feeling very inclined to cancel it at the moment.

OH and I have been invited to a 40th on Saturday night. It will be the first time we have gone out and left DS1 in charge. Hopefully won't come back to carnage.

I have joined WW (inspired by Hypno, thankyou) and so far I've lost 5lb. The trouble is I've been 'here' before. I am great at sabotaging my own plans. Enough drivel for now.

Copy invoices have arrived and just about to up date the books. Took the dog for a walk, the sky has a very brooding look about it and wouln't be suprised if it thunders.

DS1 has decided to do the gardening job. I really hope he makes an effort and doesn't try to cut corners. Told the lady he comes with a large stick to use as and when required!!!!!

Had roast chook for tea, in fact had a bit of a chooky day as I had it for dinner. Made a dressing with natural yogurt, put in spring onions, tomatoes, pepper, chopped apple, celery and cucumber it was very nice. Right the books beckon.

Thats a good idea - the washing up. dd's birthday is on Monday. There is a trip to a new traditional sweetshop that has opened up in town planned. Sometimes my 10 (20) year old becomes a little girl again!!
