Weather is awful here today, we've got the freezing fog which has made the roads lethal. OH went out to work at 8.00 last night and didn't get in until 7.30. Told me not to do the horses and he would drive me down (its only 5 mins away). I am so glad he did as the roads were like a skating rink. Truble is no amount of grit will work as temperature was -5 and the roads need traffic through to get it to go. Made it back which was worse than going down. Will see what its like later as to whether I drive or he does.

Forgot to say that when I took DS1 to the dentisit last week it looks like his body has started to reject one of his teeth, so he is going to need lots of work to try and 'save' it. We were both upset and it will mean time off school. Just because of one stupid boys behaviour!

Going to make turkey and broccoli bake for tea and probably have bacon butties for dinner.

Turkey and broccoli bake in the oven.

Horses in. Old boy not doing very well today so have slapped another rug under his bedtime rug. Contemplating putting the young one out on his own. Not very sure how impressed he will be. When I bought him he lived on his own in a field by himself for 6 years. He obviously had issues with this because when he went back into the 'herd' he has decided he doesn't like being on his own. Nothing is easy. Will check the temperature tomorrow and think again.

OH has to go to work at 7. Part of me wants him to be out after midnight (double time and a day off in lieu) the other wants him home and tucked up in bed!

Will have to update the debt figures in the New Year as some spending has occured on the credit cards.

The front brakes on the car are making 'grinding' noises OH has said he will have a look at them. Think it will be better to do when the snow has gone.

Take care in the foul weather - our freeze is having a reprieve at the mo, and thankfully everything is melting, but it has been lethal up until the last 24 hours or so.

Grr to the car.. I hope it sorts itself out without too much expense.

Is the noise of the brakes not the ABS trying to work...see how they are when the ice goes.
Please be really careful driving in the ice..I got stuck twice in ice yesterday..very scary!!

Nope its not the ABS, more of a brake shoes against the drum! Old boy is not looking good, will have to look into better feeding. He's gone out today but its still showing as -6 when we went down.

On todays to do list we are going to have a play with SAGE. As we are in a new VAT quarter and its altering, it should make it easier.

    Ooh, VAT......sounds like fun

I hope you have a good day.....seriously, though, my friend uses Sage all the time and says she couldn't be without it, so I am sure you will be fine with it.
