our dehumidifier is also on surrounded by washing, and we've also put the heating on for an hour as i'm like a block of ice, but now i feel guilty so will probably turn it off.
well done on winning, i've not won anything for a few days now0 -
OH has once again won £10 on BB. So deposited another tenner and now waiting to withdraw. Probably do that when I get home. Funny looking sky this morning it it wasn't so warm I would think it was about to snow. Errrrgh. Don't like the white stuff.

Nothing so far on BB. Really pleased with how well that has gone. Don't think I'm up for KJP sounds a bit complicated and I think the free games have stopped now. Target card stands at 70 odd quid which is going to be nuked in the next 2 weeks (she said confidently).
Long day at work today as I have to pick DD2 up from her dyslexic lesson at 4. Still very dark here and more rain predicted, yippee!
Have got the slow cooker on with sausage casserole and probably serve it with brown rice.
Did I mention that we had got a kitten he is all black and called 'Spot'. We all put names in a hat and that was OHs choice, have to say DD1 was not impressed.
Feeling a bit apprehensive for DD1 at the mo, she has decided she wants to go for a trial at a local Independant school. She is going under a sports scholarship. She has given me a weeks notice of this and I know other children would've been practising for months. She is off to play netball on Friday morning then on Saturday she is going all morning to sit an exam in maths, english and reasoning.

Don't bother with KJP - freebies are no more........but well done on BB!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hi Lucielle,
Shiver about your daughter's late entry for the scholarship. Is it possible to enter for the exam so late? In London the entries have to me made months before the exam. Do warn her after she's taken it that the exam is likely to be looking for things that haven't been taught at her primary. When my daughter sat these her tutor told her she had to write the essay in a different way from how her primary school had taught them for SATS. In London though it's extremely competetive even for private schools. The schools all said a tutor wasn't necessary to do well in the exam but everyone had one. So explain all this to your dd so she feels extremely proud if she does well but not miserable if she doesn't.CCs @0% £24k Dec 05 £19,621.41 Au £13400 S 12600 Oct £11,981 £9481 £7500 Nov £7250 D £7100 Jan 6950 F £5800 Mar£5400 May £4830 June £4660 July £4460 Aug £3200, S £900, £0 18/9/07 DFW Nerd 0420 -
I have already explained this to her so she doesn't get despondent. OH managed another £5 win on BB. Might even manage to pay off the target card if he keeps this up.
