The right house will come at the right time..that is so true.
Sorry to hear that your present house is getting you down but each debt payment gets you a step closer to the dream.0 -
You are right Taxi but its getting to the stage that I'm ashamed to have people round!
Won £5 on BB which is great as I thought I hadn't won a sausage! Went to the local fair a bit disappointing as you can pick up some great stocking fillers. I bought 2 jars of mincemeat. Usually I make my own but I really couldn't be bothered. Had a hot chocolate with a friend then went to Morrisons.
DS2 said he wasn't bothered about a homemade cake so I decided to cheat and buy one, feel a bit guilty about that. DD1 came with me and decided she wanted most of the books in W H Smith.
Had some lunch then watched Twilight on DVD. Thought it was good but a bit slow. Think I would probably enjoy the books more.

Lucielle it might be worth you pricing up and seeing if you can stretch to a dehumidifier - our flat has a tendancy to be damp but we can keep it under control quite nicely with the dehumidifier running. Doesn't cost a fortune to run either - at the standard rate ours costs about 2p an hour. Initial cost will be somewhere between £70 - £99 for a decent one but it does make such a difference to the damp.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Hi Lucielle, my house is the same, I have to herd people into the hall and living room and that is it, want to get debt free though before I start spending on it, I agree with you though, the right one will come along for you.
Hope you are ok xxxPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Have pre-purchased bingo tickets for this morning, so fingers crossed they are lucky. DS2s party today.
Weather seems to have calmed a bit and at the mo its not raining. Will pootle off and check the nags shortly. I really must clean the bathroom as its minging. Its one of those jobs I hate doing, get it done and it wasn't so bad and think well that was easy I should do it more often! Same with mopping the kitchen floor, except the day after it rains and the dog paddles all over it!
Sractchies done think the most I got was 25p. Still better off in my purse. OH didn't get in until 4.30am so trying to keep the house quiet (not easy).

Oh won £12.50 on bb. Well done considering he was asleep!
EH, I have a dehumdifier think I will dig it out. It must be worth the cost to have a dryish house.

Dehumidifier humming away. Must confess to putting the heating on for an hour I have been really cold. OH has left for work, due to reappear at some unearthly hour.
DS2s party not too bad only one little s*d I could've strangled. Got lots of cold pizza left so wonder how that will reheat in the microwave? Bought birthday cake was very delish.
Just packaged up all of OHs sales over the weekend bar one which I'm not sure about.
