We have talked to the police and unfortunately they won't have a word in his ear, its a case of all or nothing as it comes down to numbers for the police at the end of the day.

DS1 is in his first year of his GCSEs. Have a good day everyone.

  • L sorry just had chance to catch up - Hugs for the DS and you all. We've had problems at schools with both kids - not as severe - and thankfully dealt with quickly.

I hope he's OK and doesn't affect his confidence and concentration too much. xx

Sorry nothing I can say really evokes how I feel for you all right now.

Well we have decided to prosecute. This decision hasn't been taken lightly. DS1 had a meeting with the boy (thug) and he never apologised and apparently his parents haven't even given him a hard time. OH has called into the police station to set the ball rolling.

On another note get paid this week, yippeee, all spent though. Paid £40 off target card, so siggy has been updated.

I am pleased you have decided to go through with it. It will be hard work at times, but stay strong, and take no nonsense.

I'm glad that you've made your deciscion and sounds like his parents or the boy take no responsibility for anything. So should teach them to control their sons actions in future.

That's because your son has been brought up right unlike the thug.

Good luck with the prosecution. Your son has been brought up right and you should feel proud of him. He is right and an apology would have been the very least he should have expected. Shame on that young boy and his family.
Hope youre feeling better now about everything.

DS1 has his stitches removed. He is beginning to get grumpy about the brace as it keeps catching the inside of his mouth. He has been given some sort of vegetable wax to put on, but I don't think he is getting on so well with it as I saw it being thrown out the bathroom with a lot of muttering. I have informed school what we are going to do and they said they would inform the boys parents.

I am feeling quite anti social at the moment not sure why and not very good when we have got 2 fortieths coming up and a 21st. Must get my happy head on. Have seen a potential property but when I made enquiries it was under offer. I decided not to pursue it any further as I don't think its very ethical to gazump somebody and it would probably come and bite me on the bum anyway.

Have paid £9 to the target card which was what was left in OHs bank account before his wages. Dreading Christmas as I am nowhere near organised. Did pop into Argos the other day and get a catalogue which I have left lying around for the chaps to look at.

In the middle of making lasagne for tea. Managed to get 4 pints of milk for 40p yesterday. I was going to stick some pudding rice in the slow cooker but never got round to it. If it smells ok will put some in tomorrow. Have also got my other mad barking sister coming to stay in half term. It wouldn't be so bad but she has to bring her ruddy great dog with her which I refuse to allow in the house.

3 children are away at sleep overs tomorrow night so only got DS1 at home but he is having a friend stay over. Got chicken kiev for then so sort of organised. Horses are looking well. Still haven't put the rug on the old boy as it has been quite warm this week. Might even get to ride them at the weekend.

Sorry to hear that the brace is giving DS some dicomfort...but glad his stitches are out.

Don't blame you being a bit anti social at the moment as you've had a lot to put up with.
