Leeds Building Society Mortgage - after a settled DMP
Hi all, We have just had a mortgaged declined by Nationwide as we were in a DMP, we have now settled all debts that were in the DMP and our broker has submitted an application with Leeds Builiding Society who apparently may accept settled DMPs - they also accept application for those on a DMP so I am hoping our application…

30 year old house repossession debt
Hi all, wondering if I could get some advice please. So my husband divorced his first wife over 30 years ago. When he left he handed the house over to her but never signed any paperwork, silly I know. It appears that 5 years after divorcing she hadn’t been paying the mortgage and it was repossessed with a £20,000 shortfall…

Mortgage broker gone bust... Can I continue without?
Good evening, I was remortgaging through tenet mortgage solutions. I received my mortgage offer from Barclays and then tenet went into administration and ceased trading. My probably daft question is, can I continue with my mortgage offer without a broker? We already have a solicitor whom we have previously used.

Changing payment date reduced direct debit amount
I put my direct debit date 3 days back yesterday, resulting in a slightly lower payment. I’m now wondering if there is a day with a lowest payment, and how do I find it without making the adviser test out 31 options! In any case, I will be remortgaging soon. But my question is, is there a ‘magic’ day for direct debits?
