organic/free range food
While I love to save money on everything I much prefer organic veg and free range meat poultry and dairy products. Money saved in other areas subsidises this for me. Man does not live by bread alone:rotfl:

Sainsbury whole chicken
Saw them yesterday full whole large bird for about £3.50 i think or £4.50. They quite big, had to cut it right down to fit it into my slow cooker. Its freedom fodd brand as well so i thought bargain for free range chicken, oh its about 2.5 kilo's as well i think.

Works out at £0.34 per can.This is compared to Asda who are selling at £0.96 per can.If you like it like me, its a good deal!......Neil P.S this was Makro in Aberdeen -should be same everywhere.
