    Hi.

Most supermarkets have 80 bags for around £2.

I don't drink caffiene either, so if anyone knows of any offers I'd like to hear them too.

I also drink Redbush or Rooibos tea. I'm addicted to having a hot drink and it's quite similar (ish). You get used to the taste.

    HTH.
    Looking forward to the future.

I love cups of tea too much also!! When i was preg with my first son i tried to be good and drank decaf - but personally i thought it just tasted like yacky weak tea, and i defo didn't enjoy cups of tea as much then!! Then when preg with my second son i started on the decaf...........and couldn't take it any more after a couple of months so went back to lovely normal tea but made the effort to not drink as much per day!! And finally (so far!) being pregnant with my third son i stayed on normal cups of tea! They're now 7, 3 and 1 and a half, and all born fit and healthy so my cups of tea obviously didn't do them any harm!! BUT...........i know that everyone's experiences are different so basically I don't know where to buy cheap decaf tea bags, but the ones i'd recommend are tetley decaf. And whenever you're able to drink normal tea again the best teabags (in my world at least) are Fairybridge teabags from the Isle of Man!!

ps, is it your first baby?xx

    Hi Fickle

Not my first child I have a son nearly 7 too.
I don't remember the limit on tea being so strict. Or maybe its just my memory!
I got a load of freebies of decaf tea at the baby show but I have just finished them now. I have got used to the taste and love them now and I also find that I sleep better at night. Must be less caffine intake making a difference. When I went to my local coop the other day I nearly had a heart attack at the decaf prices. Problem is I like my tea soooooo much!

Have tried most brands of decaf T and find Yorkshire Tea by far the best although not the cheapest. To get a decent cuppa from decaf first warm a T pot then add t bags and boiling water. Stir and leave for five minutes to infuse (this is the most important part as it is here that the flavour will come out.

I drink Yorkshire Tea decaf as it's the only decaf that I've had that really tastes like tea should be. It's not cheap but as it's so strong I use the bags twice with no problems.

The cheapest I've found sao far is Tetley in Tesco - 80 bags for £1.53.
Funnily enough, tesco's own is more expensive...

(DeCaf is also great for digestive disorders as caffeine is an irritant of various linings)

I bought some recently from Asda. They were Asda's own, 80 in a box and were on offer for 2 for £2. HTH

    Hiya,
I have the same problem, am pregnant but really craving tea! In Sainsburys they had Twinings tea 80 bags, £2.09 each or 2 for £3 so I got one pack of decaff and one pack of normal for £3 - decided I could alternate them a bit as the decaff just doesn't taste the same :undecided

Just looked on the website and it only shows the non-decaff on that offer but was definately on at my store

our local 99p shop had boxes of decaf t bags last friday - my best friend said they were much nicer tasting than normal ones and bought 3 boxes as she said the same size box in tesco was over £2 - they were either pg or tetleys and think it was a 160 size box - hope this helps
