I think the chances are I'm on a hiding to nothing, but thought maybe it was worth asking of anyone knows otherwise. Unfortunately the details I…

Does an executor need to be granted Power of Attorney / Would probate office send them form Pa11?
I will keep this as short & concise as possible: A family member is the executor of my late father's will... Has been in that role for 2-years now, but yet the will still has not been processed :: Plus she refuses to provide clear updates (to my mother - who has contact with her) as to what the current status is. She has…

Can I sack the solicitor?
Hello, So me and my brother are co-executors, co-inheritors of my deceased parent's (singular) will. And it's probably an understatement to say that we don't get on. Anyway, we've a big bust-up, and aren't talking. So I phoned one of the banks to try and wind up one of the accounts, and discovered from them that he'd…

Lasting Power of Attorney - what actually happens when it is revoked? Is it confirmed by the OPG?
I find myself in a delicate situation and not sure how to proceed. I have been an Attorney for 3 elderly family members - one used very extensively for a couple of years and now their executor, one being used periodically as things occur and another where I've not yet done anything under these powers. It is this latter one…
