Am I being financially abused by my Father?
I’ve had a strained relationship with my parents, but in my culture, we always look out for each other. In 1994, my dad bought a commercial property with a business partner. Their agreement became strained around 2000, and my dad’s business partner became mentally unstable so my dad bought him out. I’m not sure what…

Am I a 20% or 40% Tax Payer?
My regular salary is £64k - taxed at 20% on £50k = £10,000 and 40% on £14k = £5,600 so my total tax bill is £15,600 However I am sacrificing 50% of my salary into my workplace pension, so reducing my salary to £32k - taxed at 20% = £6,400 So I'm saving £9,200 in tax, is that right?
