New water supply cost?
Hello, A friend has had an offer accepted on a period property (not sure how old, but it is red brick and has lots of fireplaces!) and has just had the survey back. The property apparently shares a water supply with the neighbour (haven't heard of this before personally), and the surveyor has told my friend that she will…

Name (maliciously?) added to Water Bill from a house I left 2 years ago...
Hi, I received a call this morning from a debt collector. Laughably they called me then put me on hold. When I got through to an advisor I was told I had a 2 year debt (£600ish from April 2010-April 2012) with Thames Water from a previous property. As a 'living out of a suitcase' self-employed chap it took a while to play…

Low Flow Rate
Is there any way to speed up the flow rate of water into my house without having to spend too much money? The water has never been very fast, and today I measured it and it was only about 6l/min at the first tap. I'm sure I read somewhere it should be at least 9l/min, but I can't see anything about it on Severn Trent's…

I'd like a water meter but council won't give permission
I know it's unlikely it'll ever be given to be honest, given what they've told me, but I was just generally wondering if anyone had experienced a similar situation and had managed to get a meter ? I'm single and live on my own and my water charges are currently £36 pounds a month. I know it's a fixed price for water usage…

Water bill reduced by 40% when using a meter.

Which is likely to be correct, if it is the later I will start putting the additional £21.00 P/M away? 2. If the former is correct am I entitled…

Rated Charge - Payment Months

I'm with Anglian Water Is this correct? And if so, does anyone know which months it is you don't…
