Extra 6 amp circuit breaker element needed
About 9 years ago an electrician installed for me a Proteus circuit breaker box which has space for 1 new circuit breaker (are these all called MCB for domestic use?). Trouble is Screwfix and B&Q don’t do Proteus - can I use another make in the board I have? Would they fit? For example B&Q do “Wylex 6A Miniature Circuit…

W10 pro to W10 home
The laptop described here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5889381/saving-school-emails-when-leaving came with W10 (home?) pre-installed. Up until now, I have been using a portable aerial to obtain freeview and whilst this…

Returning Laptop to Retailer
Hi all, please feel free to move to the correct section if needed. I purchased an Acer Aspire laptop from Curry's today and when I looked at it in the shop the size of the screen didn't seem hat large given that it was a 15.6" screen. Only when I got the laptop home, I discovered that close up it was far too big for what…

My son needs a laptop for college. He's doing electronic engineering. He has chosen a Dell 15-5000 in Curry's for £599. Its i5-8250U. 8gb. 2TB HDD with integrated graphics. Son says he needs to use lots of 'large and intensive' software and doesn't want SSD as it would be too small and he doesn't want to cary an external…
