I am having trouble when I load the sdhc card on my desktop with windows 10. I have tried both open and close at the side of the card but still no difference. The card appears to be in removable disk E on my desktop. When I take the card out of there I get a message asking me to insert a disc so I try again. Then I get a message this pc"not responding" There are photos on the card from my camera but I just cannot upload to my computer. I cannot connect my camera via a usb. Thanks for reading.

PRobably a combination of antivirus scanning and icon building. If it still doesn't work after a while then try testdisk/photorec https://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . If not already tried - on the Home screen above the start button and below your profile photo click the file/page icon. On the resulting page click SD card on the left and then double click the disk. If the files are shown, move them to a folder on your computer and then format the disk. If you don't get access try right-clicking on the disk and change the permissions.
A viable alternative is to find someone with a Linux desktop computer and they should be able to copy the card to a new SD easily.0
