How can I re install Windows on my laptop?
Hello......... I'm a bit of a PC novice, so please be gentle with me! I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop that it is about 3 years old. I think spec wise it's OK (6gb RAM, 1 TB hard drive and the control panel says the processor is an intel core i3 cpu m370 @ 2.4ghz). But it's starting to get a bit sluggish. I mainly use it…

iPhone 6
I went into an Apple Store yesterday and had a look at an iPhone 6. I'm not convinced, I have to say... It doesn't have the feel of an Apple product, and the increased size makes it just that bit too big for my liking.

Leaving ancestry.com backing up tree
I have a fairly extensive family tree and currently don't have time to use ancestry.com and am finding relatively few new leads. Filtered telephone/ adsl slave socket
I've added a filtered telephone/ adsl slave socket about 5m from the master socket using 3-pair 6-core telephone wire. The telephone works from both the master and slave socket, but my adsl modem now only works from the master. Any ideas why this is? Can you use telephone wire for this job or does it have to be cat 5e?…

External memory on latest Android version?
Was on the verge of buying a new Android phone. However after reading up on some reviews I was flabbergasted to find out that (I think) the SD card on Kitkat is very restricted. I just assumed it would still be possible to move some big apps to it from the internal memory, copy photos to laptop and other things like that.…
