Hi Maybe a simple question but - If I purchase software in download format, how can I ensure I can re-install it again if I have to (system crash for eg). Can I do it via CD/DVD drive or external drive somehow? Thanks in advance.

PVR jumping
Daughter has freeview recorder. Sometimes but not always, when she is watching a recorded programme, it "jumps" all the way through. It misses several seconds then resumes. Its about 5-6 yrs old. Is there something we can do ourselves to correct this?
