Ipad without Flash
I'm thinking about getting an Ipad 2 but the fact that it doesn't have Flash bothers me. I'm not exactly sure what this means. I find it hard to believe you can play video content on a £300 device! Does it mean, for example, Youtube, iPlayer apps wouldn't work???

Help needed
Hi, a while back my pc kept having problems booting up, then stopped working completely and doesn't switch on at all. I was hoping to get the files off the hard drive, as I'm not sure if there is anything really important on there, so I have now borrowed a hard drive converter cable to try to access the files. Is this refurbished MacBook a good buy?
My daughter wants an MacBook - she is going to art school this year and says that they are very popular among art students. She's found this: http://www.mapleuk.co.uk/refurbished-white-apple-macbook-laptop-133-2ghz-2gb-mb881ba-93-p.asp - which seems to be good value. A new one would be out of reach of my budget. But is it…

A timely reminder about CDR and DVDR backups
I pulled some old CD-R and DVD-R discs out of storage this afternoon. Some are about 7-8 years old. There were several with what looked like little dark coloured dots or small watermarks on the recording layer which is corrosion. Pretty much most of the data was recoverable on the corroded media, although not all. If…
