Hotmail problems
I regularly have problems when viewing e mails on my hotmail account. The system intermitently simply freezes with the egg timer just sticking. The only way I can correct this is by switching off my PC & restarting. This is really frustrating. How can I fix this?

Firefox alternative?
Until recently I've been very happy with Firefox 3, but several times in the last few weeks I've got up in the morning to find it giving my hard disk a sound thrashing. The reason for this appears to be a memory leak in Firefox, which consumes all available RAM and - when I looked this morning - also 1.2GB of swap file, so…

Nearly lost the lot, what should I do?
Of late, I've been using an ion 35mmslide/negative scanner along with the software provided which is Photoimpression 6. But as Picasa 3 is my default, duplicate photo's are in there. This is fine as I much prefer to make any alterations and store them there. Already I've scanned a small tip of the iceberg, some 900 scans…
