BT Vision vs Sky

I'm looking to get rid of Sky and replace this with BT vision. I've had a good browse of the bt.com site and had several questions some of which were answered by their phone staff but I realise the best opinions can be got from people who have BT vision and ideally have also experienced sky.
The questions I had were:
If I go with BT Vision's full package, ie the one that costs £12.72 for the first thre months and then goes up to just under £18 per month:
1. Are the sports shows live? esp the football premiership games?
2. Is there anywhere I can find a listing of specific programmes under each package? Particularly kids programmes like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Dora the Explorer, etc? Also Discovery programmes like Air Crash Investigation and Crime Scene Investigation and wildlife programmes? Also the Oprah Winfrey show and Judge Judy?
3. Does the music channel include MTV base?
4. Can a digisender be used with the box? I know it is not multi-room at the moment so cannot watch two different programmes in the house but if a digi-sender works then at least the same channel can be shown in different rooms.
5. My Mum watches the God channel every time she comes to visit and it would be great if BT vision offered this. Does anyone know?
I think that depending on the answers to the above I could be making a significant saving on TV. At the moment I pay approx £50 plus £12 for Setanta plus £13 for lovefilm (£75 every month) so to squash this cost down to under £18 per month would be bliss.
Thanks for any input.

The reason people don't move right down inside the carriage is that there's nothing to hold onto when you're in the middle.

BT won the rights to carry 242 same-day (but not live) FA Premier League football matches per season. The three year deal covers the 2007-8, 2008-9 and 2009-10 seasons. BT has acquired the rights in a joint bid with BSkyB. BT Vision also have the right to offer on demand coverage of 125 matches each season from the Football League and Carling Cup. These matches are available from midnight the day after the game is played.
In addition to the football above, BT Vision is building an archive of classic sports events from classic Wimbledon tennis to World Title boxing.
All of this on demand sports content is available on a pay per view basis, without the need for an upfront television subscription. Alternatively, customers can take a monthly viewing package allowing them to watch as much content as they like.
As of August 2007 Setanta Sports joined the line up on BT Vision, using digital terrestrial through a smart card, offering Live Barclays Premiership and Clydesdale Bank Premier League games, as well as other sporting events such as US PGA Tour Golf and Magners League Rugby.
BT Vision Sport intends to encourage the inscription of customers who do not wish to pay a high monthly subscription for sports.[8]
