I have tesco broadband via a Belkin router. Can anyone tell me why the download speed with the router is dramatically slower than with the Thomson modem supplied by tesco?

Just had a visit BT, man tells me it would be cheaper to get a wireless router, he said about £50 for router but about £80plus for new cables fixed outside of house again, any advice would be nice. I'm concerned about losing my existing connection with my netgear card in my laptop .

Pesky dial up connection box!
Any ideas on this one?: have just gone on to Broadband and am very happy with it except that everytime I use Outlook Express I get this dial up box pop up in front asking me to connect. are these any good ?
