University fees 'could rise five-fold' - BBC
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-11455394 Thoughts? I think providing loans continue to be offered I don't see why this is much of a problem. It's clear that in order to continue to offer world class degrees in subjects such as science and engineering there needs to be more funding. This wouldn't stop me applying to…

Student loan not been paid (teacher training)
Hi guys, I am writing on behalf of my girlfriend who is very concerned that her student loan has still not been approved. She has spoken to the 'hotline' approximately twice a week…

OU - ECA extensions
Does anyone know what is considered special enough circumstances for the OU to allow an extension for the ECA? I've read the vague info sheet and feel no more the wiser really. I feel I have special circumstances but I know they are much stricter with the ECA than TMAs. Does anyone know? Thanks in advance
Best high interest account for a student loan?
So I have just started a course at Uni this week, and am getting the full Maintenance Loan and Grant. I can live of the grant alone, so I was wondering what to do with the loan. I asked at the Uni and they said the best option was to open a high interest account and put the money in there. They actually recommended this…
GTTR Applicants
Anyone else about to lose their rag with this stupid system. It finally has the option for 2011 for degree, but now it tells me my degree name is invalid. I can't be doing anything else other than Joint Honours Creative Writing & Journalism so what do they want me to put! Then it tells me my module names are wrong and the…

This week I have finally got all of my important documents processed through according to the website (birth certificate and signed birth…
