GTTR Applicants

Anyone else about to lose their rag with this stupid system.

It finally has the option for 2011 for degree, but now it tells me my degree name is invalid. I can't be doing anything else other than Joint Honours Creative Writing & Journalism so what do they want me to put!

Then it tells me my module names are wrong and the amont of credits is invalid. Each module has a name and is 30 credits for me so what do I put! ARGGGG!!!

Isn't GTTR, for teaching training applicants for PGCE'S and such? Do you mean UCAS, that's for other degrees? I remember UCAS being a pain in the backside when I was applying but I could be wrong..it may have changed..

Technical issues with 2011 GTTR Apply

We are aware that some applicants may be experiencing difficulties in using certain features of the GTTR online application system. This may mean you are unable to complete and submit your online application. We are in the process of resolving these technical issues.

Please note that this will in no way put applicants at a disadvantage. To allow time for completion, the first applications will not be sent to training providers until 11 October. The application deadline for primary applications is 1 December. Thank you for your patience.

I definatly mean GTTR as I am applying for a PGCE post degree.

Oldernotwiser - Isaw the message but they fixed the initial problem which was degree date wouldn't go in, now found this one instead. It's aggravating.

ergh. my course info seems to have been accepted ok, just struggling with what to put as 'subject' for my TESOL qualification under 'other relevant qualifications'

also are you choices in the right order on the 'check form' bit? mine arent- they've put my last choice first and my first choice is like 3rd

oh would you look at that, forms still not fixed and maintenance has been scheduled for tomorrow morning again. will we ever get to send this thing off?!

Angelofmel - I am so relieved! I got it to accept my degree now I'm just waiting for them to fit it so it recognises my double award GCSE.

yes same, thats awesome. im still a bit worried that my choices in the check fomr bit is in the wrong order and my personal statement still tells me i have an insane amount of line left.

theres more maintenance scheduled tomorrow, if those things arent fixed by then i might just send it in anyway

have you tried imputting your double award under 'other'? if you go to 'g' in the other list theres a few different option - double, short course etc

Yeah i've got the form to take it but currently the system doesn't accept it as an "acceptable" qualification for the PGCE. It's an issue of theirs with the system. I can't put it as other as i need a science qualification for the course

Finally sorted everything on thursday last week. reference is all ready but there's a problem with the forms so no one can pay and send yet anyways
