Knitters unite... A sub-forum for crafts/knitting?
I started a thread on the OS board about knitting, a few days ago (see link below) and have been really surprised about the number of responses from like minded OS'ers. Would it be possible to have some sort of craft sub-forum do you think, or a dedicated thread similar to the Daily Thread? I know you probably want to…

Website suggestion: MSE blogs
Hiya I'd like to suggest a new feature for MSE. Some people already use the forums to keep diarys, but I wondered if it might be more beneficial to have a separate blog section? The forums could then be kept for discussions. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the diaries on MSE....but I want to start a 'my life as an MSE lady' one…

Competitions Prize Category Sub-forums
Firstly thanks to all who provide links and answers to competitions, gives me hope and makes it worthwhile to check the inbox!! My idea is as the thread title suggests, to tidy up the competitions area by categorising the prizes into sub-forums. Example: Cars Money/Vouchers Books & DVD's Music Homeware (cooking utensils,…

Flight Checker
I've been a fan of FlightChecker for some time and have found it invaluable. It's great but the new site layout is not so user friendly. The additional features are great but what I find now not so easy is the outbound and return search results are not on the same line and you cannot see as easily to tie up the outbound…

No External Links in Signatures.
I have just noticed that my wifeys forum link has been removed due to no un approved external links in signatures. I was wondering how I go about getting it approved Noortie Fings is a small forum for my wifey and her friends (from years back) and any new friends. It is a mature adult place to hang out and post, rant, chat…

Quidco - is it time to have it's own category on the Board??
Guys, i know this has probably been asked for, but didn't find it on a search. I'm very new to quidco, and the info on the forum about it is well spread out, making it difficult to get a coherent picture/good advice/etc. It's own section would be very user-friendly for all, I think.

Student loans - higher rate taxpayer - to pay off or not?
Martin, Your student loans article does not consider those who are higher rate tax payers. I am a higher rate tax payer, and I owe £4k. I think I'm going to pay it off - I have the cash, earning 6.2% in Icesave (my ISA is full). So, whilst the interest on the £4k loan would cost me £192 for the year, I can only earn £149…

A question for Martin - why are you still recommending Abbey?
In the Best Bank Accounts article you recommend Abbey in these words: Abbey’s current account pays new customers a huge 8% on balances up to £2,500 for the first year and drops to 2.5% after that; though you can always switch again at that point. This isn’t just an internet account; it’s in-branch, online or by post.…
