HelloI am a novice and please bear with my questions. A tracker fund could either be "Full replication" or "Partial replication" . Now a Tracker fund (either of the above weightings) perform the actual replication by either physical replication (own the asset) or synthetic replication. My question is how does Vanguard…

Why will European markets reach record highs tomorrow? Things aren't rosy.
It just doesn't make sense. Tomorrow morning, many European markets will be opening at record highs. The Paris CAC has been tentatively testing the ground above the highs of January…

Core + satellites – what do/would you choose?
I like a core + satellite approach to funds and on a long
drive today thought about what I would choose if I could hold not more than four
satellites. It showed me I could easily lose a few of my satellite funds since three
seems enough for me. So, for anyone who wants to play, what would be your
choice if you could have…

Vanguard lifestrategy 80 for newbies
I'm new to the world of stocks and shares and bonds and all this investing milarki. I'm not new to statistics. Everyone keeps saying that investing has to be for 5 years or more. Pass code comes across on mobile ok, but landline (which sometimes is more convenient) rings once and goes straight to dial tone. Waiting gives no more rings and dial tone, and answering during the first ringtone goes to dial tone. I've checked blocked numbers and it is not blocked (in which case it shouldn't ring anyway).…

I have a SIPP with Interactive Investor. I have about ten funds in the SIPP, all quite small around 5k each.
