Maximising ISA allowance

Evening all.
So, we've got a day or two left of the financial year. I have a few k left of my ISA allowance, but I dont really want to throw it all in my S&S ISA... (i'm more of a drip feeder).
My question is - if I max out the remainder of my allowance into my cash ISA, am I able to transfer any of that money across into my S&S ISA at any point in the future??
Or, for example - could I purchase £xk worth of a particular stock using that ISA cash at some point in the future?
Thanks in advance.

25 hours and 15 minutes at the time of your post - in theory. In practice, not all ISA providers will now still process your deposit for the 2020-21 tax year.stevebrickman said:

Yes (but usual warning: do not attempt to transfer yourself. You must ask the receiving ISA provider to transfer your money)stevebrickman said:

Not sure what you are asking there - you can do as you please with your cash ISA money.stevebrickman said:

Why not just deposit into your s&s as cash? You don't usually need to invest right away.2

Don't just buy stocks using funds from your cash isa, the cash isa funds have to be transferred to a s&s isa first.
The stock also has to be offered by and bought through the s&s isa manager to retain its tax free status.0
