Advice for a newbie please
I am 44 but have only just decided to try investing (apart from an employer share purchase scheme and a company flotation), so I'd love a bit of advice before I commit. I want to get some long-term growth started in a S&S ISA but I don't have a firm time frame for when I'll need to cash in. Obviously I have rainy day money…

5% Yield Target on Inheritance
My husband and I are very fortunate to have inherited £620K and will have the funds very soon to invest. We do not require our inheritance for income as I am still working and we have no mortgage or debt and good savings, ISA's and SIPP's of our own. We do not want to put this money into fixed interest savings accounts…

HSBC closing savings account and moving it to another banks saving account
Have a regular unlimited access savings account with HSBC. I have opened a savings account with a new bank (as I moved my current account). HSBC are telling me me it's going to cost me £17 to move my money. (About 40k). This seems absurd. Is this legit? If so, how is this even legal in this day and age?

Does anyone here use the Trading 212 ISA? I have a few questions! 1. Can you transfer in an existing S&S ISA and how easy it is to do? 2.
