Saving for foreign grandchild
We would like to put aside some money every month for my 3-year-old granddaughter so that when she turns 18 she has a decent sum to start life with. However she lives in Germany and is a German citizen so we can't open a child's ISA for her here. Up to now we've been putting the money into an ISA in my name (grandma) but…

Rounding errors in account statements
I am busy reconciling all my accounts and calculating the interest paid to me so that I can notify the HMRC but am having real problems with one of them (and this only applies to this one out of over 20). The values used internally by the P2P company appear to be to many decimal places below the normal 1p point, however…

Where to Invest?
Hi. I need some advice please. I have no savings at present and don't own any property; I currently rent. From May onwards I will be in a position to invest £1000 per month for the foreseeable future. I am 56 years old and will probably work for another 10 years or so. I have been considering every imaginable type of…

Fidelity Index World vs VLS100
So I'm on the verge of the transferring my previous years cash ISAs (circa 40k) into my S&S ISA. Currently I have a small amount amount in VLS80 but I've decided I would prefer to go down the 100% equities route - I'm in it for the very long term, and I dont need to touch the £40k at all. So the 2 I'm considering are the…

Over 40, can I trasnfer my help to buy ISA to a lifetime ISA
I see that the goverment has restricted opening a new Lifetimpe ISA to the under 40's. But I already have a Help-to buy Isa - opened before I was 40. Can I transfer my Help to Buy Isa into a Lifetime Isa even though I'm now 40? If I can't, will the goverment keep the scheme going?

Best way for son to save - which ISA?
Hi all Without reading through the forum (which I suspect holds my answer!) - my son has just started a job and he wants to start saving for a deposit for a flat (a long way off at the moment!). He is 19, 20 in August and his salary is not massive. I wondered what ISA would be good for him, etc - I'm not very savvy about…

S&S ISA fund for long term
Im going to stop dithering and open a S&S ISA today. The money will be for my son in the future, he's only 2 so looking at investing for approximately 20 years. Recovery Fund How to Invest
Hello folks. How would someone invest in something like R&M UK Equity Long Term Recovery fund? I've had S&S ISAs before, using XO and Nutmeg. Could I invest using XO in this fund, within a S&S ISA? Or do you invest directly with R&M? Only picked individual stock before or used that picked by the broker. Many thanks

Hi, Im looking for a suitable fund platform where I can invest in Euro currency. I tried Keytrade bank in Belgium but had my application declined and no reason given.
