Is there a Savings and Investment Glossary?
Sorry if this is a dumb question. I have been reading in this area of the Forum since Christmas as part of this year's plan to start better understand investing and while I am perfectly capable of putting the initials people use into google, this doesn't always tell me what they are, or how they work. I know if I ask about…

Iraqi Dinar - Feeling Foolish...
Hello - apologies if this isn't the right section but I finally want to put this one to bed if possible. Like many people, I'm sure, my parents and I foolishly got caught up with the revaluation rumours. Luckily we didn't invest as much as we were being encouraged too however it is a fair amount. Hi there, quick quesi
Hi guys just wondering if any of you would happen to know which would work out best for me. I was reading the 'what's the highest interest rate you can get' thread and worked out I could manage the first three options, all bringing in around 300-350ish interest a year. I'd probably go with this one- 5% on... £2,000 lump…

contributing to ISA vs having ISA
Hi, I am a bit confused about what the wording exactly means: 'contributing to ISA'. I know I cannot contribute to two ISA accounts in one given year, i.e. transfer money into it. However, how is it taken when I have one old ISA, dormant, which only has the money there and earns interest each year and if I wanted to open…
