ETFs UCITS question
Hello, I'm researching to build a pension-oriented portfolio. I'm a UK citizen but live in Italy. I'm trying to establish whether I can access Vanguard's products here in Italy, but when I search on forums and on "Borsa Italiana", which is the Italian stock exchange (owned by the London stock exchange), I get no results.…

Transfer ISA funds or look at regular savings?
I currently have approx. £7,000 in a Nationwide ISA that is a couple of years old now. The rate has recently dropped to 0.75% and I'm looking to try to make these funds work a little harder for me. I already have a maxed out TSB Current Account (5%), Nationwide FlexDirect Account (5%) and Club Lloyds (4%) and a small token…

Best savingsaccount for small amount of money
I'm looking to put up £20 a month in a savings account. I'm happy for the money in the account not to be immediately accessible if it means I can get a higher rate of interest. Any recommendations on what savings account might be suitable most appreciated. I realise that £20 a month isn't a lot :)

S&S ISA or not?
Hi, I've just been looking into S&S ISA and i'm probably looking at starting getting into at least this after the election. AXA seems preferable according to martin, but as i look into it more it seems just like actually holding S&S. So do i have the same control in an ISA compared to just going entirely into investment…

What to do with a small inheritance?
My Dad died earlier this year, leaving me and my two siblings a house and a very small amount of money (less than £7,000). We expect the house to sell for around £90,000 which would leave us with around £30,000 each. I currently rent a property with my husband, so no mortgage to consider and at nearly 50 little point in…

I'm not that bothered about…

Inheritance and savings plans
So I am in a very fortunate position of just inheriting a large cash sum following the sale of my parents house. So I am looking for some advice with regards to savings. My rough plan is to put approximately £80k into a three year savings plan of some form - a fixed rate bond maybe? I want to put £20k into an account where…

NS&I ISA problem
I have tried (correctly and legally) to invest in an NS&I ISA. I am registered with them on-line, but when I enter my NI number the message comes up that my NI number is already in use. Well, I'm sure my NI number is in use in many places, but maybe the problem is something to do with my holding NS&I Premium Bonds. I…

Due to my lateness and Natwest's shoddy online ISA application system, I applied for a Natwest 2014/15 Cash ISA transferring £5000 from my Natwest current account 2 days before the April 6th deadline only to find later that no money was ever transferred and the empty account didn't show up online until the 8th. I accept…

Fidelity monthly investment from ISA Cash Park?
Anyone know if it's possible to set up a monthly investment using cash already inside an ISA on the Fidelity platform? In other words this would be a monthly switch of £x from ISA Cash Park to A.N.Other Fund. I can find an option ('Monthly Savings Plan') for buying a fund via a Direct Debit for new money, but not using…

Lifestrategy 80 Acc - can I just leave it to do its thing?
Hello all I've just registered with Charles Stanley Direct with the intention of investing monthly into the LS 80 Acc fund - £500 a month. Points to note: 1) I'm fully aware the value of an investment can go down as well as up 2) I know we're likely to be better off by investing this money rather than sitting on the cash…
