RBS Autopilot
Hi all, Is there anyone out there who bought an RBS Autopilot product and would be willing to share their experience? RBS recently admitted that Autopilot probably isn't appropriate for individual investors, and is contacting buyers and offering them their money back. Anyone been contacted? Best regards.

Santander 123 3% account
If you are opening a Santander 123 bank account, don't put any money in until you are certain that a minimum of two direct debits have been received. To immediately take advantage of the 3% rate I deposited a large sum after arranging for the DDs to be transferred. There was a delay in receiving one of the DDs. this…

65 plus bonds.
Just checking I am doing the right thing. I deal with all the finances in the house, I am about to send a cheque off for the new Pensioner bonds. My husband is neither computer savvy, or financially savvy so my thought is that if I do the bonds 'joint' then if I happen to pop me clogs, the bonds/money will automatically…

Sunday Times - Why Friday is the Most Dangerous Day for Fraud

Where to put matured cash isa for £36k
I have a fixed term cash isa maturing in the next six weeks which has £36k in it. I like the Vanguard LS funds and will be investing my 2015-2016 allowance into the VG…

Shaky inheritance
My wife's 90 year old aunt, after living most if her life in California, wanted to come home to live her remaining days and to be buried here in her birthplace. She had no children. So my wife brought her back to live with us. She died recently leaving only about $1500 in US savings bonds. The bonds listed her mother as…

Old Share Certificates
Have been clearing out some old paperwork today and have a number of share certificates that I don't think are valid any longer. Can someone answer easy interest question for me please?
Hi my brain will not function. My daughter is earning 4% on her savings. She has an offset mortgage which is charging 3.85%. She is basic rate tax payer. I think the savings will be better if paid in to the mortgage because 4% is 3.2% after tax, and 3.85% is not taxed. Am I right? I have confused myself can anyone explain…

New Europe Property Investments plc?
http://www.nepinvest.com/ Can anyone tell me anything about this fund? I can't find very much info about it, but would like to know more about fees/charges. I'd like to include it as a small percentage (3.6%) of my total investments. It does look like a very risky investment, but it would be held for at least 5-10 years…
