Your Best Performer Of 2013?
I thought it might be interesting to see people's best (and if you want worst) performing share/fund of 2013. Different people could even have very different fortunes with the same share depending on when they bought. Feel free to throw in any good feelings you have for 2014 as well. I only started investing in September.…

Back in the UK; where to put my savings?
After 10 years in Japan, I have finally moved back to the UK and am going to be starting work here in a week's time. Question is, where should I be putting this cash? There…

Has anyone any idea how I can contact re right part of Royal Mail? Extensive searching has come up with nothing. Is there any other route?

NS&I Index Linked Certificates
I have a 3 year bond just about to renew and have the option to roll this into a new certificate. The option is to roll to either a 3 or 5 year certificate. The rate on both is Index-linking +0.05%. I cant see what the benefit is in choosing the 5 year over the 3 year. It seems you lock the money up for an additional 2…

Rate hunter
In terms of saving and investing, what do I look for? is it as simple as looking for the highest rate? If that is the case then why are there so many providers! surely no one would want a lower rate out of choice? yet all the majority of providers appear to offer different rates. Have I missed something here?

Speculative Investments
I'm very cautious with my savings which are completely held in Cash ISAs and Santander 123 accounts. However, for a bit of fun I've decided speculate £5000 via an S&S ISA to accumulate (or not as the case may be). I'm looking for investment trusts or funds which are likely to appreciate relatively quickly and dramatically…
