Any Medium-Risk Saving Alternatives I've Missed?
Hi there, I recently got some money to invest. I have done some research, but I was wondering if the wise heads in this forum know of any opportunities I've missed. I have £50,000 to invest. I intend to invest £17,000 in cash ISAs with family members. I'm happy with that. I'm unsure what to do with the remainder. I'm…

Nationwide Regular Saver
Does anyone have this savings account? I'm asking purely because it doesn't seem like any other Regular Savings account I've seen. For a start, it has unlimited withdrawals when most accounts I've looked at have a limit of around 4 or 6. But most importantly, the amount of interest you earn depends on how much you pay in…

£20k savings Santander 123?
Hi all, I have a little over £20k which I am looking to invest. Ideally it would be fixed for no more than 1 year. Having had a brief look around, I keep coming back to Santander's 123 account. 3% interest and easily accessible. Even in comparison to ISA's (2%) it appears to come out on top, am I missing something here?…

Anyone been involved with or aware of City Equities Ltd and/or Beaufort Securities Ltd? I have 3.5k in my isa but the rate…

Disappointing Investment Bond
I have an Investment Bond originally with Axa, now Friends Life which seems to be very disappointing. I have had it for 5 years and it has gained 12%. Reading various posts I learn that it was not really an ideal investment for me, a non taxpayer. I was sold it when I tried to open a savings account at a building society.…
