Hi guys, I have gone through all the Santander 123 questions, so please don't call me lazy for not looking for the answer, what I would like to know is my wife is a non tax payer and about to open a 123account, I already have one, being a different named account holder, would I be able to transfer the £500 from my account into hers?

Have you tried the Santander website - it's a lot more dependable when it comes to Santander T&Cs than some random forum, regardless of how knowledgable some forum users might be....

Interest and transfers from any other Santander accounts do not count towards the monthly funding amount.

Do you have access to another (non-Santander) account that you can route the £500 through on its way between the two 123s? Or alternatively, another poster on here proposed withdrawing £500 in cash from one account and paying it into the second one in these circumstances, although that sounds cumbersome!
