My wife and I live and work in Germany. We have £45,000 in premium bonds. Over the last 4 years we have averaged £650 per year in "winnings". I noticed from a link on MSE.com we could earn more in interest than we get on bonds. Could we invest in the UK even though we live in Germany? Westill have our UK bank account and…

If you have one platform provider, for ISA funds from prior years, and you wish to use another one e.g. for DIY instead of continuing to use an IFA or to access a fund/product not available is there anything stopping you? Commission Free ISAs
Are there any commission free equity ISAs out there because I am fed up "paying" commission to a NON Existent financial advisor? Child investment options not accessible until 18.
Hi, My toddler has recently inherited a few hundred pounds from their great-grandparents. I would like to invest this but one of the conditions of the inheritance is that it is not accessible by my child until 18 years old. We have already got a junior ISA and I'm reluctant to add this money to it. Although it would make…

Pay off portion of mortgage or save?
We recently paid off an endowment, worth just over £20k. We had intended to put it against our mortgage (currently paying 2.5% interest over 15 years), but are now wondering whether to put all the mortgage on repayment and put the £20k into savings instead. What do people think in general, and what recommendations for…

Nottingham Cash Isa 4%. Branch only.
The Nottingham have a cash Isa just for this years allowance. Paying 4%. It is branch based so ideal if you live in the area covered by their branches and can leave it in as access is 180 days loss of interest. No good for me as too far but found it as I was looking around for a good rate and thought I would share.
