Do banks still do savings accounts or do I need to get an isa?
I want to put aside a regular amount every week and I used to use a savings account to do this but that was a few years ago!
Thanks

You can have ISAs, regular savings accounts, or just plain savings accounts. Even current account which pay interest. Pick your choice!
BTW, an ISA is a savings account - - - the S stands for savings.0 -

A cash Isa is just like a normal savings account except that the interest isn't taxable.
Saffron BS and Nottingham BS are both offering monthly regular saving ISAs offering 4% interest, if you are eligible/able to apply. This is a very good rate in the current climate.
