£15K burning a hole in my pocket
I make full use of my ISA allowances, and pay money monthly into an investment account. However I find myself with £15k spare with nowhere obvious to put it. I recall that around Easter time last year there were government bond for sale that were tax free and paid interest at a rate above inflation. Are these bonds an…

Bonds & Savings - Paying Tax At Source
I've been trying to invest in a bond and have been told that, up to £50k it is taxed at source, and anything above £50k I will have to declare the tax myself. Does anyone know why it isn't possible for the bank to pay all tax at source regardless of amount invested? Thanks.
