Post Office Online Saver

I know that PO is covered by the FSCS but knowing that the accounts are offered by the Bank of Ireland, is there any reason to worry? I mean, if things in the Eurozone go belly up, would BoI give me any trouble/worry?

Thank you

PO Saver accounts are now just as safe as deposits in any other UK bank (you can make your own mind up about how safe that would be in the event of a Eurozone crisis!)

PO accounts are now run by the UK arm of the Bank of Ireland, so are covered by the UK scheme. It used to be that they were only covered by the Irish scheme, in which case I would not have recommended opening an account, but following the change it should be fine.
