Saving Help
I am currently trying to save a bit more as I think I should be able to. I will be honest, I don't have the best track record of spending my funds sensibly. I realistically have just over £1,000 after my bills (travel, breakfast and dinners, phone bill, rent - living at home). I have a slight problem I'd rather not go…

Is anyone leveraged on Zopa?
.... and do you think this is what has driven down the lending rates? I had dismissed Zopa previously as didn't want to tie up cash for a long time. Then had the bright idea of leveraging by being both borrower and lender. This of course cuts the margin requirement right down, which from what I've read has happened on…

Interest Calculation Query
Something I've been wondering about interest payments on savings accounts, I wonder if anyone can advise? In most cases, interest is calculated daily, but paid either monthly or annually. Is the daily interest calculated according to the account balance at a specific time on that day, or an average of the account balance…

Times are tough
Why doesn’t technical analysis work in the current market conditions? I think that the technical analysis simply is revealed now. Support and resistance levels are found everywhere you look. In a quiet market with smoothly rolling charts, technical analysis gives a false impression of credibility.

The stock itself is horribly volatile - in the past twelve months it has increased and decreased by 25% three times. It's…
