Apologies for asking this but i've just signed up for the "save 12k in 2012" and I want a dedicated savings account for it.
It needs to be able to accept transfers through internet banking.
Any thoughts?

I'd suggest reading this link from the top of the page.
There are one or two 3%+ accounts.
I'd suggest checking what your own bank offers (for convenience). Some will offer 2.8% or more. ING and Tesco are usually right up there.
Additionally, look in to monthly saver type accounts too. First Direct customers can get 8% for a year.0
