Santander eSaver 3
Hi all, I opened one of these accounts around the 15th March and have not realised until today, rather foolishly, that I should have made a deposit by now. The letter I have from them says "To make sure you take full advantage of the great rate your eSaver brings you, you'll need to make your first deposit within the next…

Trojan Fund fees
Does anyone know the cheapest way of investing in the Troy Trojan Fund? As far as I can tell, you can invest direct (they use Capita to administrate the dealing service) and pay 1% annual management fee. There is no initial charge, although there is a dilution levy of 0.5%. I can't see any mention of a dealing charge. Or,…

CFD's/Spread betting - where to start
Anyone know of any good, knowledgeable forums for the above? I've done a search but all I've found so far is a bunch of unhelpful know-it-alls! New Santander Flexible ISA Account
Hi, Do Santander normally send out welcome e-mails written in Comic San font? Just received one some 10 days after applying online for their Flexible ISA and was wondering if it's the genuine article or some scam. If it is genuine it certainly looks quite shoddy and unprofessional.....there again this is Santander!! Will…

n00b question about funds
This probably seems completely obvious, but my brain isn't working right now! If I set up "GingerFurball's Emerging Markets Fund" and set the fund price at £1 (ignore whether this is realistic or not, this is purely for mathematical simplicity), and 1 million investors each bought in for £1, would that then give me, the…

Savings vs offset mortage
Hi all I am looking to save for a deposit over the next 2 years for a new house. My current house is too small (as I now have a little boy) but as there is not a great deal of equity in it (about 10k) I would rather save for a new house and let out our existing house eventually. :) I have an offset mortgage with the…

My OH deals with all the family's savings and ISAs. In fact, I don't really know what there is.
