Investment of Student Money
Hi All. This is my first post so please be gentle with me! I am returning to university on Sunday after almost 4 years out due to recovering from the dreaded Meningitis virus. Over the last year I have managed to save £5000. As the current student loan interest rate is 0%, the sensible thing to do would be to…

Best Stocks and Shares ISA
Hi, I'm looking to make a regular investment in an index tracker stocks and shares ISA. I can't find any comparisons for the lowest fees so I can choose the best one. I think the fees are usually around 0.5% - 1.5%. Is this correct? Does anyone know who offers the lowest fees? Thanks.

Misuse of term 'AER'?
As in: At Stroud and Swindon. The only account paying '5%' is the Escalator Bond Issue 7 - paying 3%, 4% and then 5%. This then becomes '5% AER' during the 3rd year. Of course the bond is basically a 4% account - yet the definition of 'AER' (that is, the Annual Equivalent Rate - but only for periods upto a year) must be…

Interest Accrued
I invested £5000.00 in 2001 £3000 in an ISA and £2000 High Income Trust with Nationwide via Legal % General. I have just received my latest statement showing that the ISA made £832.45 and the HIGH INCOME BOND made £350.00. Could I have made more interest elsewhere?.
