Best savings accounts for 60k

Hi, my Grandmother has recently sold her house and has 60k excess she would like to place in a savings account. She doesn't mind tying it up for sometime but my may concern is placing it with a bank that i know her money is going to be safe with.
Does anyone have any ideas they could suggest?
