What to do with my money?
I have various accounts around, and the interest rates have dropped through the floor :( Currently my ING ISA is approx 2.7%, my savings is 2.9%, and i am going to assume my Halifax ISA is really low too. What would be the best course of action? Should i just leave everything as is and wait? or should i try moving around…

I have filled my annual ISA allowance and was going to pay off some more towards the mortgage but then Barclays/Woolwich decided to drop my rate to 2.19 per cent so not much point in doing that. Where should a put a couple of thousand until the start of the next ISA year?

Won't be paying tax until 2009-10, and have £5000 to stache away. Investing £500?
I already have a few thousand in fixed rate savings accounts and cash ISA's, but I was looking to invest a small amount of spare money eg around £500 now that the savings have dropped like a stone. Does anyone have any medium risk suggestions? How do I go about investing money? Thanks.

How can it be moral or legal for the banks to offer a fixed rate account then reduce the rate while your money is being transfered and cleared.
