Monthly or yearly interest - will be non-taxpayer in a year
I have a savings account with Icesave and a fixed rate bond with Birmingham Midshires. I opted for monthly interest when I opened the accounts. fixed term deposit account - What do you operate this with?
Hello, With a fixed term deposit account......(when they offer you a fixed interest rate for a year or whatever), what are you 'given' to have the account? Is it some kind of certificate? OH and I are using all our own ISA allowances. What would be your best suggestion regarding putting something away for our newborn grandchild? Is there any special tax efficient solution out there? We would be able to save only a modest amount, say £20-30/month.
