Bradford & Bing E Bond - Avail balance

I have an EBond issue 20 (6.8% fixed for 1 year, if I recall). Opened 2 weeks ago.
The processed balance shows as £ xxxx (where xxxx was my deposit amount).
The available balance has from day 1, (and still to this day), shows £0.
Is this simply because the account doesn't allow withdrawals, or are they taking an age to process the cheque?
Just wondering if anyone else has a £0 for their available balance for this account type, to put my mind at ease.
Thanks.
SC.

Yes, think it's because it's a fixed-term account - mine also shows zilch available (eSavings shows the overall balance as available). If it's showing on the summary, it's in the account.0
