ICE Save- Safe?
I've currently got my money invested with ING. After their ridiculous excuse not to raise rates, I've decided I want to move. The difference between them and the market leader could mean £150 a year for me. Would ICE Save give me any grounds for concern? (considering that they are Icelandic?) I'm not an expert on Banking…

For the past seven or so years we have saved £20 per month with the Halifax for each of our two grandsons. This pays something like 3%+ plus something like 2% at the end of each 12 month period if the regular savings are kept up and nothing is withdrawn. Wishing to know if there is anything better out there - I'm sure…

When is it worth chasing a rate?
Lot of talk about leaving ING. But for a quarter percent difference in rate, you only get about 20p per thousand per month, which is taxable. So really, at what point do you think it is worth chasing? Feel free to quote figures and tax band, if you wish :)

INGDirect - Why have they ruined themselves?
I have a savings account with INGDirect. I have been a loyal customer since they launched in the UK, but I have now become fed up. After each fall in the base rate over the last few years, a fall in the ING savings interest rate has followed immediately. However, after each rise in the base rate over the same period, rises…

FIL cashing in ?endowment ?PEP ? ISA advice please!
My FIL wants to cash in a badly performing endowment/ISA/PEP with the CIS. At one point it lost nearly 2k but was back up to the ammount he originally put in. It then lost another 200-300 and he…

Cavendish Online
I have today received my policy for a retirement pension to be paid by Norwich Union. I got the details about Cavendish Online from this site and made enquiries first.
