Hello all, Last December I popped into my local Nationwide branch to apply for a £1600 loan. I was denied this loan due to making errors on my account. Prior to this meeting I had gone to the bank and asked for a card upgrade on my account, I was told by the girl behind the counter I could not upgrade but had to have a new…

Today I recieved a letter from Lloyds advising we (joint account) were overdrawn. Thinking it could only be a pound or two but puzzled as to what I had missed being due, I logged onto internet banking to find out more. £135  in Charges:eek: = £30 overdraft excess fee & £105 for 3 unpaid DD's. Now one of these DD's the…

I am confused but that don't take much
:rotfl: Just read the Q & A on the website for Lloydstsb and they are saying " This test case and the suspension applies only to complaints about unauthorised overdraft charges and the law which applies to them" Does this then mean that we can proceed to re-claim extremely high charges for retured Direct Debits then?

Quick update on my claim status in case it's of assistance to others. My online claim had been defended by Lloyds, and then a stay applied for at, and granted by, Northampton County Court (who handle online claims). I wrote a letter to the court manager asking for my stay to be lifted on the grounds that a) the delay was…

Bank Charges Help
All the advice appears to point towards ignoring the test case and get your claim logged with a county court asap, if your don't and the high court test case takes years to conclude you may lose out due to the statute of limitations law. However my problem is I can not get an actual amount figure I am owed. Although I have…
