Is this legal shops to print full 16 digits on the receipts?
It's really scary to see the all the digits on the receipts with expiry date. This can be misused by someone easily by just remember few 3 digit back of the card. Why can't card companies make it safer.
Unexpected parcel - scam!
I hope it's ok to put this here.... it's a warning based on our current experience... Yesterday we had a small parcel delivered, that was addressed to my husband. I signed for it because he often buys odds and ends online. It turned out to be a Samsung phone worth nearly £800, ordered (apparently) from the catalogue…
Currys pc world beware
I am new here, but I wanted to alert everyone to a process that I felt was underhand, although satisfied with purchase. I recently bought a vacuum cleaner from currys, and paid by credit card, but it waas only later I realised what they did, they charged my credit card to pay for £129 Gift card and then used gift card to…
Praise - Maplins
Bought a Maplins brand shredder last September. It stopped working recently so I took it back tonight; they would happily exchange it. Simple way to avoid 98% of cold callers

Didn't arrive on booked date, re-arranged, complained got £25 refund. However, the delivery men were so quick, it wasn't un til after they left, that a major colour differences in all…
BBQ fire risk
I have an Outback Gas BBQ which is 3 years old and been used for around 2 years. Its stored away in the garden shed after use and in good condition. The other day I was cooking food and I smelt burning (other than the food). I found that the outer metal casing was on fire with flames shooting up the side, I quickly turned…
GROUPON! Worst service ever!
BUYER BEWARE!!! I have made many purchases with Groupon over the years with some hiccups but generally ok. Lately though, every order I placed got rejected because my address was wrong. (Of course, it wasnt!) THEIR system kept scrambling my details so despite it being right on the screen its not what they issued vendors.…
Very - Regretful
Hi all. Just a moan about how awful Very are. They had an offer for £100 credit to your account for an iPhone 7 if ordered on Buy Now Pay Later so I created an account. Unfortunately my credit limit was a little bit short of the phone's cost that I wanted so I started a web chat with CS to see how I could get round this.…
