BUYER BEWARE!!! I have made many purchases with Groupon over the years with some hiccups but generally ok. Lately though, every order I placed got rejected because my address was wrong. (Of course, it wasnt!) THEIR system kept scrambling my details so despite it being right on the screen its not what they issued vendors. After a million calls and emails, including cc'ing the MD in who now seems to have blocked me, I have got absolutely nowhere and to add insult to injury, all the refunds from their order cancellations have been given to me as Groupon Credits! I want my money in the bank as I wont be using them again! Worst Customer Service I have ever come across and I will NOT let this rest!

Not dealt with them for a while, have tried contacting them on a business matter and they don't respond well.
For want of repeating myself on here, Tweet them a message. https://twitter.com/Groupon_UK
The best way to Tweet a company with a complaint is to start with a dot, followed by their Twitter name. (so, .@Groupon_UK). That way it isn't just them reading it and they may reply quicker. Always start off polite and friendly. In my experience they usually give you an email address and a contact that gets things moving.
As a quick story to see how well Twitter works with customer service, a friend of mine had a problem with a Facebook business account. He'd sent messages on Facebook and emails, when they eventually answered they told him that it would take several weeks to sort his (simple) problem. I suggested he Tweet them, he did and they resolved it in half an hour. Even Facebook have better customer service on Twitter. I think big companies tend to equate Twitter to someone standing outside their office with a megaphone..0 -
Think this belongs on praise vents & warnings. Nothing to do with eBay etc.0

Why has the CEO blocked you? Shouldn't you just have used the small claims court if you had an issue? If so your problem would have dealt with easily ages ago.0

It's sad to hear about your experience. You have paid for something that you haven't got, but instead of getting you money back you have just got credits. This coupled with the fact that you have been blocked from sending emails, is to add insult to injury. The first step you should take now is to tweet a message which has been advised by RFW. You could also find a template for a legal letter that you send to them. A letter might be taken more seriously by them.0
