I expected a final bill but after 4 months, 6 phone calls, 3 Internet 'chats' and lots of complaints by email all I get is badly spelt replies fobbing me off with later…

primus are being naughty!
Hi all, Been with primus for 18months now and looking forward to going elsewhere. Rang them to let them know and they told me I can't leave until June 2013. The reason is that I moved house 6 months after I signed up and they restarted my contract. I didn't know of this procedure. They then said that it is standard WITH…

Moving into a house, seller is cancelling his BT line, will I pay for reconnection?
The seller of my new house is with BT for line rental and he has told them that he's moving out so that his number will cease to work. Whether he's keeping the number in their new property or not, I don't know. I've never moved before so I don't know how it works or to what extent the line gets shut down in cases like…

Are you paying BT for a free service
I subscribed to "caller display" with my BT home phone plan (so the callers number and name is displayed on my handset) and it cost £3.30 a month. I just discovered that if you sign up to BT "privacy at home" not only do you get automatic subscription to the telephone preference service but you get "caller display" free.…

Tesco Homephone/Broadband Increase Prices From March 2013.
http://www.tescobroadband.com/price-change Apparently customers have the right to cancel due to the increases if they are still in contract, and have 30 days to do so after they received notification of the price rise. However, since they were received just days before Christmas, many may have other things on their minds…

Info Shown On How To Use MSE Intl Call Checker.
Here it says http://callchecker.moneysavingexpert.com/how-to-use-it-international/ "Most call providers announce call charges at the start of each call. " but would it not be helpful if it indicated thats only the cost of calls from a BT Landline. Perhaps CallChecker could consider this.

British Telecom Phone Slamming?
Has anyone any experience of this? I have started the TALK TALK thread here, about my FIL - and it appears that TALK TALK may also be victims and it's a BT issue. For anyone who hasn't read the TT thread my FIL has THREE TIMES now been told by TT he's cancelling his service - he isn't, and twice he's managed to cancel the…

0844 in BT Anytime
I use BT Anytime, but I am finding that more and more organisations are using 0844 numbers which are excluded from this contract. Does anyone know if 0844 will be included at some time, or if any other provider includes in their all-in package, or if there is any other solution. Many thanks.

Talk Talk - is it a scam?
My FIL is with Talk Talk. Three times now (whilst he is still in contract to them) he has received a letter from them saying they are sorry he is leaving and he owes them £200 (or similar) for leaving early. He calls them and says he hasn't asked to leave - they name a company he is going to. He phones the company, no,…
