BT: Loss of service claim
My home BT phone line (for voice) is as dead as a doornail, although I still have very slow ‘Net access. I’ve done all the checks and reported it as a fault and BT have confirmed there is a problem with the line. The operator that I spoke to however said that they would not even be looking at the problem until 2nd November…

telewest phone headache
Have now managed to do a good half price deal with telewest for TV package, reduced price broadband and knocked their talk unlimited down to half price for 6 months. Reasonably happy with this although I am heartily fed up with doing this every 6 months and suspect eventually a swap to Bt is inevitable, as per Heinz's cost…

     I HATE BT SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!! We get monthly bills which go out by direct debit and I noticed on our last bill that they were going to try and take the money out on the 30th (ie before payday, and every bill we've had before this has been the 1st, 2nd etc)) so I've just called them up to ask…

Our first bill was over £50 (it was supposed to have been £15 plus call charges, which were under £2). We have been charged more than double ever since. I have called them…

Is BT late payment charge legal?
I pay my BT bill monthly, and used to pay just before the next bill was due. About a year ago they started issuing a reminder and adding £5 to the bill if it wasn't paid within 5 days. Since then the time allowed has reduced and reduced. I am on benefit and have been paying every 4 weeks for the last 6 months. You used to…

1899.18185,18866 price of call voice announcements
These people are not the greatest for informing all customers of price changes,so it pays to keep your price announcement switched on,to avoid unexpected charges.;)

Changing CPS supplier
I was previously with CPS Just Dial, now taken over by Onetel/TalkTalk. There would be some price advantages to changing to Primus Saver Option 2, but not huge ones. Is changing CPS supplier a straightforward process - or can you end up in limbo and wish you'd never bothered? Can it end up affecting line characteristics…

Are all calls to all TalkTalk customers free??
I wonder if anyone else has come across this, & if so, is it worth drawing to Martin's attention. There seems to be 2 versions of TalkTalk out there - one through Carphone Warehouse & one through Sainsbury's Homephone. Both websites claim that all calls to TalkTalk customers are free, but nowhere can I find anything saying…
